I designed this timer screen to feel super clean and flat, but with a little nod to skeuomorphism in the dial. I wanted it to feel modern and light, but still give you that nice, familiar feeling of turning a real kitchen timer.

The layout is simple and clear, so you can focus on what you’re making without getting lost in extra stuff. The dial has just enough shadows and depth to make it satisfying to interact with, but it stays subtle so it doesn’t take over the whole screen.

For me, this was about mixing old and new - a functional piece that feels easy to use and a bit playful too. Just a small way to make everyday tasks feel nicer.
