BASS // CULTURE

Magazine

This magazine cover was designed as a visual tribute to my favorite artist Mac Miller and the legacy he left behind. I wanted it to feel raw yet intentional - like a snapshot of his evolution, blending moments of vulnerability, creativity, and cultural impact.

The collage-style layout pulls from different chapters of his life, echoing the scrapbook energy of fan culture while staying grounded in a clear, editorial format. The textured background and bold type treatment contrast with the cut-out look, creating a rhythm between structure and emotion.

For me, this was about honoring a story without overpolishing it. Keeping things human, direct, and layered. It’s a piece about memory, influence, and the spaces music leaves behind.
